Once again, Durango Party Rental is joining forces with the City of Durango and Building Homes for Heroes (buildinghomesforheroes.org) by honoring our veterans with a burrito breakfast benefit over Labor Day weekend!

Don’t miss the 2nd annual Veterans Benefit Burrito Breakfast on Sunday, September 4th. Head under Durango Party Rental’s tents set up at the transit center from 8:00am to 10:00am to fill your bellies with delicious breakfast burritos provided by Durango Doughworks.

This event is geared towards offering local support to “Building Homes for Heroes”, an organization committed to supporting those who have returned home from the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan with severe wounds and disabilities, with a goal to build homes for families in dire need.

We are able to do this again this year thanks to the tremendous success of last year’s event and we hope to make this years breakfast even bigger!

Please show your support to Building Homes for Heroes who provide individuals, corporations and others with an opportunity to help our severely wounded and disabled veterans and their families rebuild their lives.

Durango Party Rental in association with Building Homes for Heroes presents The Jeff Solon Swing’n Big Band. The event will be gearing up on May 6th at 7:00pm at Jon Sigillito’s Durango Party Rental in Bodo Park. The event will raise funds for Building Homes for Heroes, a non-profit organization committed to helping our wounded and disabled veterans rebuild their lives.

“It is exciting to see Jon host such a great event and bring in this fun swing band, which Durango rarely gets a chance to see,” said Carol Clark, coordinator of the event. “Through events like this, Durango will be supporting our own culture as a country.

This night will be filled with fun, music, dancing in a hip warehouse loft. The event will feature the Jeff Solon Swing Band including over 8 musicians such as: Doug Owen, Zack Jones, Tim Farrell, Jeff Sweet, Kevin McCarthy, Brad Tarpley, and Deb Barr on vocals. Tickets are available for $12 at the door and the event is open at all ages.

Big Band Music is a musical ensemble, which became popular starting in the early 30’s during the Swing Era. Are you “In The Mood” for a “String of Pearl” as you walk “On The Sunnyside of The Street” to “The A Train” while you hum “Moonlight Serenade” as the “Bye Bye Blackbird” “Sing Sing Sings” “Our Love Is Here To Stay” cause “There Will Never Be Another You” as “Just In Time” you get to the “Tuxedo Junction”? Then, please join Jeff Solon and his 8-piece Swing’n Big Band for a swinging evening of great hits from the 1930’s 40’s and 50’s.
